Hello, my name is Nicholas Smith

I hold both the Hypnotherapy in Practise Diploma (HPD) and the Diploma in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH), plus have extensive experience in helping individuals overcome their personal challenges, as you will see from the Testimonials page.
I am a member of The National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), the Association for Solution-Focused Hypnotherapists (AfSFH), the
Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), and am
fully insured as well as holding an Enhanced DBS certificate.
To ensure my skillset is as up-to-date as possible and to enable me to work in as wide a remit as I can, I undergo regular Continual Professional Development (CPD) training and supervision.
My approach is compassionate, empathetic, completely judgement-free and I am committed to creating a space where you can feel safe for us to work together in a therapeutic alliance to help you reach your desired outcome.
Based in Brighton, UK, I offer session online worldwide, plus run in-person clinics at several locations in Brighton & Hove and London.
In-Person Home Visits are also available by special arrangement

Professional Associations
The NCH is the UK’s leading not-for-profit Hypnotherapy Professional Association, providing support, training and supervision for practising hypnotherapists
The AfSFH is a non-profit organisation committed to supporting members at each stage of their career and seeking to further the practice of Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy by supporting and developing the skills and interests of members engaged in that profession, as well as increasing public awareness.
The independent UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.
CNHC was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of health practitioners. CNHC's register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament.
Brighton and Hove Therapy Hub encompasses a large number of Therapists who are qualified, and BACP registered, they are experienced in supporting a wide range of issues ranging from anxiety, depression, eating-disorders, gender identity issues, gambling issues, Codependency as well as those experiencing other stressful or life changing situations such as bereavement, separation, divorce or bullying.
Clifton Practise Hypnotherapy Training is a highly regarded school in the modality of
Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy.
Originally formed in Clifton, Bristol, it now has many schools across the UK and the world.
