Positive Evolution Hypnotherapy provides hypnotherapy treatment for a wide range of issues. Any potential treatment is always discussed first in detail, to determine the client's desired outcomes and goals as well as to ascertain client suitability for this style of therapy.
We will always try to accommodate client's needs and do understand that we all have busy schedules and lifestyles.
All clients are required to read and accept the Terms and Conditions below:
1. Payment Policy:
a) Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy is regarded as one of the most highly effective therapies available for many people but results from therapy sessions are largely dependent on client commitment and acceptance of the therapeutic process. As such, results are not guaranteed.
b) Session charges are not refundable, except in the case of Exceptional Circumstances
(See Section 6 below)
c) In the case of one-off sessions, Clients will be expected to pay for the session at the end of the session and must have a valid form of payment on them.
Cash or major Debit/Credit payment cards such as Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
d) The exception to (c) above, is Smoking Cessation sessions, whereby payment must be made in advance of the session.
e) Any promotional groups of sessions must be purchased in advance of sessions commencing.
f) If a client has purchased a group of sessions, these will be tracked as they are used.
g) If a client is unable to make payment for any reason, then all further sessions will be put on hold until the debt is cleared.
h) Continued failure to pay or clear a debt will incur legal action for recovery of funds owed.
2. Missed Appointments:
a) Clients may cancel or reschedule appointments up to 24 hours in advance of the appointment, with no penalties.
b) Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notification will result in a charge of 100% of the session fee, or the use of one pre-paid session in a group purchase.
c) A cancellation made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the session fee, or proportion of, in the case of group bookings.
3. Cancellation Procedure:
a) Clients must notify the therapist of any cancellations at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
b) Cancellations can be made by phone, email, or through the therapist's designated communication channel(s).
4. Late Arrivals:
a) Clients who arrive late to their appointment will still be charged the full session fee and will only receive the remaining session time.
5. Ending treatment:
a) Clients are welcome to end their ongoing treatment at any time, provided that a minimum of 24hours notice is give (see Missed Appointments 2(a), above).
b) No refunds will be given for any remaining groups of 6 sessions that are unused.
Any remaining group sessions may be transferred to family or friends of the client, only on discussion and approval of the therapist.
6. Exceptions:
a) Exceptions to the Cancellation and Missed Appointments policies may be made in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances, at the discretion of the therapist.
b) Clients experiencing financial hardship may discuss alternative payment arrangements with the therapist on a strictly case-by-case basis.
7. Agreement:
By scheduling an appointment with the therapist, the client agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions outlined herein.
8. Amendment of Terms:
Positive Evolution Hypnotherapy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes in advance.
9. Confidentiality:
Information regarding appointments, cancellations, and payment details will be kept confidential in accordance with the Privacy Policy of Positive Evolution Hypnotherapy.

How will my data be stored?
In May 2018 the Data Protection Act was replaced by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The changes to the Data Protection Act are aimed at ensuring that your personal, confidential and sometimes sensitive data, is held privately and securely.
How long will you hold my information for?
This depends on the organisations you’re registered with. For example the NCH (of which you are all student members) says “You should keep written records stored securely for 8 years after the last interaction with an adult client and up to the age of 25 for a child under 16 when last seen or 26yrs for 17-18 year old.”
What if I would like my data to be destroyed before this date?
Due to the sensitive nature of what we do, my insurance company does not allow the deletion of data, before the minimum time for holding said data.
Am I able to see or get a copy of the information held by you?
In line with GDPR, yes, within 30 days.
What are your Reasons for collecting this information?
Data is collected to ensure all clients receive comprehensive, bespoke treatment based on all available information.
How do I know that you will store my information securely?
All paper records will be scanned before they are destroyed. All digital documents will be locked by secure password access.
Are our discussions within the hypnotherapy sessions confidential?
Yes, unless I need support from my supervisor or I believe that you are about to harm yourself or another.
What if I see you outside of a hypnotherapy session?
To preserve your privacy, I will not approach or acknowledge you in public, unless you approach me and engage me in conversation.
Will you discuss information about me with other health and social care professionals?
Only with your written consent.
